adding a slideshow to photo album

HI all, I am a newbie. Can anyone tell me how to add a slide show option to the photo album page? at the moment , visitors click on a boring looking folder and see the thumbnails. then they click on thumb to see larger pic. I would like to add an option to view as a slideshow as well.
