The "Database Based Component" require 1 database, please prepare your database and configure database here.

Most people using the site builder are complete novices & get confused & scared if they have to create databases & things, especially when they dont know anything about databases or MySQL. I can see this feature generating lots of support requests. (I have already had 2 phone calls about this today)!

Even I was confused at first because I did not know this feature had been added, so did not know what the customer was talking about.

Instead of the user having to create a database why don't you put code into the sitebuilder so that it just does this automatically for the user (generates the database & user etc).

The idea of having a sitebuilder is to keep things as simple as possible for the end user.

Also, will the sitebuilder only ever require one database? I want to know if I need to enable only one or more than one database for clients accounts.

Great post! I also experienced the same thing the other day with a client and I was confused too. it would be nice if a database could be auto-created for this purpose. Since mysql databases are kinda a dime a dozen these days, this would be a great time saver if we had a setting in admin area to enable a feature like this.

We will create db automatically in a new few days. Please wait.

DB requires only for project using blog, newsletter, faq (not available yet), and forums(not available yet). It requires 1 database/project. All components will share a single database.
