Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible you can addon a feature to rvsitebuilder that will allow the use of shtml. I have a customer who wanted to use the rotating banner script from the cgi script section in cpanel. I had to do it for her because I had to ftp into her site and rename her file to .shtml There should be a feature in rvsitebuilder that allows you to check off a box shtml and then automatically names the file with the extension to .shtml

You can overcome the issue quite easily using .htaccess.
On the published folder, create file .htaccess and paste below directive on the file.
