My apologies if these requests are not new or if they are currently being worked on. I have three items that I would like to ask you about:
1. I don't seem to have the ability to highlight and cut a block of text, I seem to be able to only highlight and cut one line of text at a time. When I highlight a block of text the cut button is grayed out. 2. Of particular interest to me is the ability to change the pictures that are part of the template or just be able to delete the picture all together and edit the area with my own pictures and text. 3. Your photo album generator--I have had clients ask about getting the ability to manipulate the order in which the pictures appear on their photo album page instead of having a strict sort order. Oh, I lied I just thought of one more thing--how do I go about getting just some simple, basic templates for my clients to use? And color schemes that are more 'formal' (like grays, maroons, tan, etc.)? While the templates that you have are indeed colorful and eye-catching, the clients I'm trying to serve really don't need anything that fancy. Thanks for your time. |

(This post is OLD!) 2. The pictures can be changed by Exporting, Editing the template, and importing it again. 3. There are better photo galleries than what's included in with RVSitebuilder. I'd recommend using one of the ones offered by Fantastico deLuxe or Softaculous (like ZenPhoto) and then publishing it on your domain and externally linking to it from your RVSite. 4. Do-it-Yourself templates are pretty basic and clean. Good luck! |

Do-it-Yourself templates are pretty basic and clean. Good luck! Actually issue #2 regarding ability to edit/delete template pictures or design own is not something easily achieved. Doing a quick search of posts about this you will find a great number of people are having trouble with this #4: the photo gallery plain and simple just stinks period. For many years now we've been promised an improved gallery, improved customizing, etc and still have this garbage. While admin has locked the thread regarding image title descriptions and the problems with them showing on the site by saying they've been "fixed" let me assure you that they have NOT been fixed. While one can add a DESCRIPTION, the actual image title is still showing, no matter what option you choose in the system configuration. If I had any idea on how to use and externally link to my rvsite I would |
