I think you should make the editing of the skin a bit easier, each time a single edit is required, you have to go through the full process and republish all files.

You should allow the user to select which part of the template they wish to edit.

images
css
html files
etc

in that manner, it would make it so much easier for us to edit our own templates.

Also it should only republish edited part of the template, not all the files.

I am thinking to rewrite some of them to solve the speed, and make a more easier like your suggestion.

Few more suggestions:

1. You should make it so when a Template is imported, it should give you the option to OVERWRITE the current template.

So when you are importing a template using the import function, instead of displaying

Sorry theme name 'NewTheme' has been used!
Please rename the theme 'NewTheme' to [Empy Field]

It gives you the option:

WARNING: The template you are trying to import already exists, do you wish to overwrite the current template or rename it.

Yes | No

Clicking yes would overwrite the current template, clicking no would give you the option to Rename the template you are trying to import. smile.gif

This function will make it easy for us to make changes on one server, export the template, and then import it into all other servers just overwriting them.

2. Allow icon rearranging. Allow the user to create their own categories and move icons between categories each category. This would allow them to move all icons to one category or make even more categories to list icons under.

I am not sure if you would be able to do that though, it would be very nice if it is possible.

I would like to add a category in the control panel for marketting tools.

You should also consider allowing multiple uploads at the same time for the icons and images sections, it just makes it harder having to upload icons one by one.
