No. To keep the admin avoid confusing, we have to put the big alert on the screen.

Hi pairote,

In my previous version of rvskin (updated recently) you could disable this user/admin functionality in total. I guess this configuration option is not coming back?

(Didn't use this layer functionality, just more things to explain to resellers smile.gif I don't give them access to rvskin)

Hi all, pairote,

Would it be possible for me to config rvskin in such a way that resellers don't see *everything* in the control panel of their client accounts when they are in admin layer mode? Since my last update, a resellers sees a whole lot more when they login in a clients cpanel using their own password (or via cpanel button in 'list accounts' in whm). They used to see only the things their clients also see.

I'm trying to tweak rvskin to remove the change layer header and always use user mode, but I'd rather use a normal rvskin to be able to keep updating!

If a config solution just isn't possible, could/will you help me with tweaking rvskin? (Can already remove layer change header (customheader() and customheader2()) , but I'm still searching for the most secure way of forcing the user mode..)

Thanks in advance for any response,

Kind regards,

Jacky

There is an option in reseller global config in RVSkin Manager for Default Feature Layer if login to cPanel using root/reseller password. Change it from Admin mode to User mode. I will find a better way to handle this situation.

Hi pairote,

Thanks for your reply!

Since I wanted to be sure the resellers can only see the user layer, I now tweaked my rvskin.pm for this. But I will have to do these changes, although I will be able to do these very quick now, everytime I update rvskin, so I will still be among the people that will appreciate some more configuration choices in this in the future :)

Kind regards
