Limiting what customers can do in Cpanel with RV

Hello.

I'm a little confused about the functionality of RVSkin.

What I need to do is limit what customers who have Cpanel can do.

For example can I choose on a customer by customer basis what the cpanel can do for them.
I don't trust some of my customers to go near cpanel, but I still want to give them access to awstats.

Can RVSkins do this?

Yes. There is a function in RVSkin Manager / Config / Account-Feature Manager where you can set the feature list for specific user account.

Thanks for the response.

One last question, would I as the admin have a differrent login to this account and have full privileges?

For example: Could I as admin be able to use Fantastico to install mambo on an account, but the user not see the fantastico interface?

Thanks
john

Yes.

If you access to RVSkin with root/reseller you will be enter into the Admin Layer mode. All applicable features will be shown. Under Admin Layer mode, you can switch to User layer mode to check whether what which features actually appear when user access to cPanel.

If you/client access to RVSkin with the account password, features showing in the skin will be only listed in the Package-Feature or Account-Feature List.
