Password Protect Pages

How can we password protect pages with ease, this is a very important aspect of the business
Please could you let me know how this can be done, for members very important

I followed the link you gave, but it didnt take me anywhere to fix this issue, as you stated. How can this issue of protecting pages be resolved. please give specific instructions

Hi The suggestion you gave as below goes to non functioning links, I just need to follow your links and your links need to go somewhere not show a blank page, so could you please correct the links you sent to me so that I can at least see the suggestion you are talking about
